After the electroslag remelting of 9Cr3Mo, it is used to produce cold rolls and other special steel products. This grade of steel is characterized by adding amounts of alloy and requiring strictly for residual elements in the process of electroslag remelting . Guided by Ameba Model and Lean Manufacturing, our technical center optimizes the production process of this steel. By analyzing the control level of titanium content, the R&D team proposed a alternative process of titanium-controlled synthetic slag and evaluated the potential impact on titanium content in finished products, scientifically developing a test program in line with the steelmaking process. After two pours of production test, the titanium content in finished products can be precisely controlled, and the preliminary estimation can create benefits of about 50 yuan/ton.
